Needed a Garmin GPS for My New Bicycle |

The one thing I asked for this past year for Christmas was a bicycle so that I could start riding and get healthier. It wasn't just about losing weight, although that's definitely part of the plan, but I wanted my heart healthier and my overall condition in general to become better. My husband listened to my request and on Christmas morning I had a wonderful new bicycle. It took me a little while to get the hang of it, but now I'm like an old pro.
Now that I've really become more comfortable on the bike, I decided that I'd like to venture out further and that's where I think a Garmin GPS would come in handy. I attempted last week to use the Garmin GPS that we have in our car, but that almost ended in disaster. Thankfully it didn't, and I wasn't stuck with having to explain to my husband how our fairly new Garmin GPS had fallen on to the pavement and broken into a thousand pieces. Needless to say, I realized right then and there that the Garmin GPS that is meant for our automobiles is definitely not meant for my bicycle.
I found myself wondering if there was a Garmin GPS product that was made specifically for bicycles and a few weeks ago when I was browsing through the Sunday sale ads, I found a Garmin GPS at one of the local sporting good stores. I wasn't feeling well that day, and I decided that I'd check online to see if I could find that same model Garmin GPS. I was able to find EDGE® 205 BICYCLE MONITOR WITH GPS that I found at Save Cash Time whose online store can be found by visiting www.savecashtime.com and realized that it was quite a bit less expensive than the advertised sale price at the sporting goods store. I decided not to waste a second and ordered the Garmin GPS on the spot. After I placed my order, I called my husband to tell him that I'd ordered the Garmin GPS online and how it was so much cheaper than the sporting goods store. I told him that it made me wonder about other things I’ve purchased locally that I could have maybe gotten for a better price online.
I've since received the Garmin GPS and installed it on my bike and it helps keep me on track. One thing is for sure, I learned my lesson about looking online first before I buy. |
