He Can Geocach On His Own Thanks to Garmin GPS |

Six months or so ago, my son came home from college for a weekend and while he was here he told us about a new craze that everyone was doing. When I first heard the word craze, I couldn't help but find myself a little concerned, but my son assured me there was nothing to worry about. He said this craze involved a Garmin GPS and something called Geocaching. Now I'll admit that while I have heard of a Garmin GPS, I'd never heard of anything called Geocaching, so I wanted more information.
He explained that a group of them get together and they use the Garmin GPS to go on a sort treasure hunt. There are websites online who have the information on how to find the Geocaches, and you take the Garmin GPS and look for them. They are usually hidden, and sometimes will contain small treasures that you are to take. When you take a treasure though, you need to leave one behind, and on and on it goes. Everything is registered online at the websites, and some of the kids have even hidden their own Geocaches and registered them on the site. It's something they love, and the only thing they really need is the Garmin GPS to help get them there.
At that point in time, my son was using the Garmin GPS that his friends owned. He said that he ultimately would like to get his own, because he didn't like the idea of always having to depend on his friends for a Garmin GPS in order to do the geocaching. I could understand his thoughts on that, so I decided to keep my eyes open for a Garmin GPS on sale. Over the past months the stores have had several on sale, but I wasn't sure about buying them. Then I found GPSMAP® 64 MB 60CSX (WITHOUT BAROMETRIC ALTIMETER & COMPASS) that I found at Save Cash Time whose online store can be found by visiting www.savecashtime.com. I'd seen the same Garmin GPS system elsewhere and it was more expensive, so I knew this was a really great price. I ordered it for our son, and it arrived yesterday. He should be in from college either tonight or sometime tomorrow morning, and I know he has plans to do some Geocaching. This time he can do it with his own GPS system that we bought him. He'll be so happy.
