So You Think You Can Dance with an MP3 Jukebox |

I am pretty sure I was born with two left feet. I am a perfect example of the stereotypical white guy who wouldn’t be able to dance if it wasn’t for the two step. The other night the MP3 jukebox was playing Justice’s D.A.N.C.E. (attached below) in an empty apartment. I was home alone, one roommate was working and the other was out somewhere. Getting caught up in the rhythm of the song I started to lay down my favorite moves. Swaying the shoulders back and forth, doing one of those points to an invisible crowd with both hands and the best foot step slides I could muster, I danced. Since no one was home, I was trying moves I had no place trying like classic steps from the late Michael Jackson. The MP3 jukebox was so loud, I didn’t hear a key jingling around in the front door’s lock. I was caught up in the MP3 players moment.

Back to the front door, envisioning myself taking out every dancer in a club who thought they could dance, I had no idea my roommate was standing there, preparing his cell phone to take a video. Right as the song was about to end, I did a little spin and looked right into the lens. “Smile” my roommate said before breaking down in laughter. Embarrassed but past caring I kept going and before you know it we were both jamming out.
