Organizing the MP3 Jukebox with Stars |

My desktop’s MP3 jukebox has a star system of up to five stars to be used for rating individual songs. It isn’t bulky or hard to use, all it takes it running the mouse over the colorless stars to the right of the song description and turning between 1 to 5 stars yellow which in turn gives them a rating. I have started to do it for a few songs but my MP3 jukebox has a massive library. Someday I hope to have all the music rated because after they all have a star rating the library can be organized by 5 star songs, 4 star songs, etc.
Having an organized MP3 jukebox helps me figure what albums are best left in the recycling bin and which are worthy of making a new play list. It can be really easy to forget about entire artists when there are thousands of songs to wade through. Forcing myself to try and rate every single one of them will help me discover lost tracks, clean up my hard drive and rediscover those classically awesome songs forgotten over the years.
