Canon Digital Camera
My son has decided to take up photography. Last year they spent about a month covering photography in his art class. The school let them sign out a Canon Digital Camera for a week. Then they played with the pictures using photo shop and other computer programs. He absolutely loved having the Canon Digital Camera at his disposal.
I was expecting him to have taken a bunch of pictures of his friends, but no. He took hundreds of scenic and art shots. He was quite serious about his pictures. This is the first time he has shown so much passion for anything. I'm going to encourage this as much as I can. I have agreed to register him to every photography class offered on weekend and after school. The only thing he is going to need is his own camera. He requested a Canon Digital Camera if possible. To surprise him, I ordered a Canon Black 10.1MP Rebel XS Digital SLR Camera with 2.5" LCD and 18-55mm IS Zoom Lens for him at a great online site. I think it is even better than the one the school had him using. It has all the features he needs to do his best work. The better the camera, the higher the quality of the pictures he takes. I'm going to give him the URL so he can go back and get any accessories he will need.
